Scentsy Story
Hey there — I’m Armando Bayardo. I’ve been working in the HR and Payroll world for over 30 years, and I still love what I do. From juggling complex payroll cycles to supporting employees through the highs and lows of work-life, I’ve always believed that people deserve equal care, attention and deserve to treat themselves.
I smelled my first Scentsy bar about ten years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. There’s just something about a great scent that makes everything better. It may sound silly, but I cannot work without having a fresh bar of wax (if not more) warming in my numerous Scentsy wax warmers while I’m working. It’s become a ritual at this point.
I’m especially drawn to the fruity scents — Cherries Jubilee, Berry Sweet, Paradise Punch and Disney’s Angel Experiment 624 are my all-time favorites. Since they’re only available during the summer months, I’ve added them to my Scentsy Club order, so I receive bars every month and all year long. I never have to worry about going without, and it’s totally worth it!
Fun Facts
• I’ve lived in the Kansas City area my whole life and have settled in Mission, Kansas.
• Best way to unwind? Warming my favorite wax bars in my numerous Scentsy wax warmers, turning on uplifting music, and letting the good times roll. Especially while I’m working!
• Go-to motto: “Treat yourself and take time to do what makes your soul happy.”
• Hidden talent and hobbies: Singing, spending time with family, playing with my puppy, Charlotte, and staying calm, cool and “scented” during payroll weeks.
• If I weren’t so darn happy working for my employer, Beauty Brands…I’d probably sell Scentsy full-time.
Overall, it’s the little things in life that bring me joy and a great fragrance is definitely one of them.
